The Maker

KinCoded is the long-form narrative universe stewarded by PastelBison, an illustrator, content creator, and worldbuilder working at the intersection of Indigenous Futurisms, speculative technology, and kinship-based storytelling. Her illustration credits include published works with Coyote & Crow and Netrunner, and her background in federal-tribal policy shapes how she engages with themes of tribal governance, data sovereignty, and nation-building.

 

PastelBison is constructing the KinCoded universe with intention, honoring her tribal roots while respecting her own body's limitations as a disabled artist. Pacing and sustainability are non-negotiable.
